About us

My name is Denia Sarmiento.
I was born in Honduras and traveled to the United States in 2006, pregnant with my son, who is now 19. I went through many hardships to get to where I am. Later, I became pregnant with my daughter, who is now 17. I separated from her father and began to fight alone for my children. I am a single mother.
Over time, I faced many injustices, especially at work with different bosses, simply for being a single mother. I always wanted to have my own business, but I didn’t know what to do, nor could I find the right opportunity. Working as a house cleaner, I went through difficult times: once, a boss insulted me horribly, and I decided to leave that job. When I changed jobs, I met Daysi, with whom a beautiful friendship and camaraderie developed.
That’s when the idea of opening our own business arose, no longer thinking only about ourselves, but also about creating long-term jobs. Thus, interest arose in painting, lawn mowing, and other jobs that could offer employment opportunities.
